SciFi and Fantasy Art: Eilenea

Eilenea is the adopted sister of Nealea, and one of Jala's deciples. While Nealea favors the flute, Eilenea plays the harp and uses her beautiful voice. The picture was done in watercolor and then touched up with colored penciles.

This is an ecellent piece! Very well done I think You should do more color work. I have a suggestion if You are interested. Try using the color pencils to add more highlights and shading. I have used this technique on several watercolor and marker works. I recommend Prismacolor color pencils. Keep up the good work.

Have you ever heard of a book called Ella Enchanted, well this picture remindes me of the girl in that book when she's older because she wears a dress similar to the one you drew and she has the same features on her face except that in the book she's younger. I put my art on my web page and i consider myself and okay artist.

Look.... the chin isn't too long... the eyes aren't to high up. You have got it just right, if the chin was shorter it would look weird and if the eyes were lower she'd looked like the middle of her face was all squashed. It's brilliant, well done!

this isn't as good as the other you drew.

There's nothing wrong with the proportions of her face; it's quite a lovely picture, very tranquil feel to it, and all the parts are where they should be. The only change I'd like to see you make is enhancing some of the finer details---beefing up the contrast a little, perhaps? I know people are always telling me that...forgive me if I pass the comment along. 12

Ella Enchanted? I loved the book! 1 I read it fiarly long after I had drawn the picture... and isn't she a brunett? But the dress is a little simmiler... Good book anyway, I reccomend it highly.

I love this art work, she beautiful, love the color. It's a good mix you have made, using pencil colors with water color, it's turn out very good.

i find this picture quite tranquil--very nice--like the use of light on the background---though i like your work i’d like to see you use bolder lines and colour---anyway, great work!
