SciFi and Fantasy Art: Line Vampire

I've always wanted to try different methods of drawing so i got this idea from myself and another elfwood artist (i can't remember name)!! i really like how it turned out, i don't think i'm quite finished it though but i thought it looks good enough to put up on my site...the dragon/dog symbolises how most vampires are beautiful, wise and strong! The behind of the mouse and tail (bottom right corner) symbolises the invisablity of vampires, meaning they're quiet, quick and usually not seen very much...can anyone give me help in thinking about what other animals i could try and fit in??... medium : black thick pen/marker

Hey Eilidh,
I really like this, especially the motion of the lines. Actually it reminds me of the mask-man from Majora's Mask (which I still haven't beaten!)
Keep up the good work!

Hi - I'm Eilidh too! I'm from Scotland as well and I'm 21. You were looking for suggestions of other animals to put in... I'm thinking a lamb. Sounds ridiculous I know, but the lamb could be more of a cute teddy lamb somewhere in the background rather than an actual sheep lamb. Also, this has symbolism - lamb for the slaughter: represents the innocence of a lamb, which in turn is symbolic of the innocence of vampire victims before the vampires go in for the kill (slaughter). Let me know what you think - if you don't follow my line of thinking, at least you can rest at ease that there is someone out there that has a line of thought stranger than yours!

1 Eilidh .R. Gordon replies: "*waves* hey Eilidh...thts a really good idea, i would never have thought of it myself but i like it 2...hopefully my vamp will b finished soon then, well if i get a chance to do so, hehe 2thnx for commenting and did you know that our name (in Gaelic) means Helen!? lol jus thought i'd tell ya 2"

Hey Eilidh - hope that line drawing is coming on well and that I'm glad you liked (or at least had the decency to pretend to like) my lamb suggestion. Yeah, I knew our name meant Helen - did you know that it also means Bright? I do not enjoy when people try to pronounce it and say, 'Eyelid? What kind of name is that?'. Has this ever happened to you? Maybe you could have an eyelid within your drawing which represents the blind ignorance society displays towards people and also vampires? P.S. I've just completed my Honours Degree. Just waiting on the results as I graduate in a week and a half (hopefully!). Cheerio for now!
