I did something like this for a design class project once... it was a use of shape assignment. I think I have it at my site... "Xing". I was inspired by seeing equestrian crossings in my neighborhood. I did a "guy falling off a horse" crossing... an alien crossing, a snail crossing, a crossing sign crossing...
