    Hello and welcome! I've always enjoyed creating strange creatures - usually nasty little, spikey ones. Illustration is probably my favorite excercise - seems that when I have a story as background, my artwork tends to turn out better. Just about everything I turn out is drawn in ink or charcoal, scanned, and colored with watercolors or in Photoshop. Common themes in my work include: socks, scarves, patches on clothes, feathers, and twisty branches! I also do a lot of oil painting, mostly impressionist-style landscapes. When I'm not drawing or painting, I'm a PhD student in biology. I've put up more of my randomness on Deviantart (just click on my homepage). Thanks for stopping by!
