SciFi and Fantasy Art: Willow Woman

A friend asked me to do a man-tree combination. However, considering that all the men I draw come out looking like psychotic Ken dolls, I drew a woman instead.

Nice hairdo. She looks like she's in pain or something. Or maybe she's just an old tree?

she's beautiful, simply beautiful! the wayher arm morphs into a series of flowing knots in the wood, that elegant head of leaves/hair, and the serene expression on her face!!! the colouring is wonderful too, especially the way you've conveyed the fact that this is woo that we're looking at! 2

A very lovely picture, yet also with a mystical and mysterious air to it. The expression in the face and the bark effect over her skin gives her an otherworldly (yet not alien) allure/knowledge. Simply wonderful.

I like it, Sort of reminds me of the Disney Poccahontas tree, except yours has much more attitude and looks younger. I have noticed that you always do nice knot-work. Some people have hobbies..you do knots...Wonderful!

Hey! That reminds me-can you do an Enting or an Entwife? Oh, and by the way, AWESOME drawing, I love the color and detail!(Iwish I could draw that well)

I would've liked to see longer "hair" since willow trees have the really long...well, willowy, for lack of a better word, leaves or whatever they are. Willow trees are my favorite and I just feel that, though this picture is wonderful, I feel it's not truly full of willow spirit. Just my opinion, don't take it to heart too much.
