SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sunset sky with ducks

This isn't a proper fantasy picture, but it's inspired by that fairy tale where a young princess has her brothers turned to swans. I tried to use simple colours to give some feelings.

18 Jan 2001	Markku Silvennoinen	Loading... This one looked so great even as a thumbnail. Simple colour schemes always work the best, this one's a fine example of that. The forms of the ducks are so fluid, so right. Hey, this could also be from "Nils Holgersson", that's what I thought immediately when I saw the thumbnail. Know what? Even if I know the story... I had never thought of it!!!
1 Apr 2001	madmouth	Loading... I read that fairytale when I was 7...forget what it was called, but was quite cool. you have a knack for--I can't peg it, exactly, because there is always the one part of the picture that looks extraordinary, just unearthly. it's the sky in this instance
