SciFi and Fantasy Art: Fairy of the leaves

I made this on autumn 2000, it was thought as a sort of 'decorative' drawing, made for the pleasure of spending some time putting a leaf over the other, trying to gain effects. Probably you can see there are some straight lines over the drawing: they are the marks of where 2 pieces of paper have been united, because I made some parts I didn't like in the end, and cut them off!

17 Jan 2001	Markku Silvennoinen	Loading... Oh yes, I immediately saw this as an illustration, coloured with watercolors perhaps, on a poetry book or something similar. In the upper left corner, while the text would be in the center of the page, or maybe a bit to the lower right corner. (Okay, so I do layouts for living...). Yep, the figure and lines are great, I especially like the lower part, where the forms are only hinted at. I'm not sure about the background though. As a decorative piece, I think the clouds and the skyline could be omitted. The figure and the leaves are strong enough to stand on their own.
