| 21 Oct 2005 | C. 'Jadei' Nygren | All right, here goes! I think that you should have stuck with the same style of coloring all the way through. You body is colored with steady lines, while your hair and eyes are more blended in and shiny. It kind of splits up the picture, you know what I mean? Another thing is that her head seems big for her body; that's a thing I'm working on too, crazy proportion problems...but this work is pretty cartoony, so you can pull it off. I like the colors, they really stand out; and the pose is pretty cool too. Good Job. Kudos! Eli Marie S. Landro replies: "Thank you for the comment! ^-^ The reason her eyes and hair looks blended is because I added shine to them, the method of colouring is the same as the rest of the drawing. I personally like the effect, but it might be a bit too much. *lol* And this one is from my 'gigantic-head' period, so, yeah. And the enourmous hair probably adds a bit to the size as well. I like to think that I've toned a little bit down on my heads now! (at least I hope so!) " | |
