SciFi and Fantasy Art: Hug

Because sometimes even brainwashed necromancers and ressurected girls needs a good hug. ^-^ It's Kenda (the blue-haired) and Braedyhn (the formerly dead one), sharing a bit of a tender moment inbetween all the plotting and scheming. I saw a photo of a mother and her child in a magazine, and had to draw something similar! Aren't they adorable?

Aww. Wanna also friend to hug.

Necromancer can't be that evil that many think about them. And anyone who likes hugs and smiling can't be totally evil.

Likes this one very much, it's beautiful. It's cold and warm at same time. Cold colours contrast greatly pictures warm feeling, leaving it quite surprising feeling at the first glance making picture quite interesting. Nice done. ^-^

Hmm, it reminds me of more of a sisterly pose, or an aunt; perhaps because they both look so young. I really like the way their arms are posed, very elegant; but perhaps the colors could have been changed around. The peach skin color and brown hair are what stand out for me in this picture; the rest of it, except the red ribbon thingy? everything else is blue. It has a very calming effect, but...i don't know, maybe a bigger variety of colors could have been used. Anyways, good style, and a very touching picture.

Kudos!

1 Eli Marie S. Landro replies: "Thank you! 1 They're not supposed to be mother and daughter, so that's okay! Kenda's not old enough to be Braedyhn's mom. ^-^ The colours are used intentionally, Braedyhn is supposed to be really pale and somber, she is an 'undead' after all. And, well, Kenda is very blue, so... *lol*"
