SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Moon God

Long time no update! Since I've been busy moving, and still lack a real pc-desk, I haven't been able to get much done lately. But I figurd I should upload some stuff, just to show that I'm still alive. ;D This is a sketch of the moon god, the 'twin' of hoshiko. I don't have a clear idea about how he looks yet, but it's something like this. The sketch turned out a bit weird, mainly because I doodled in class! *sweatdrops* I'll probablly get around to do a better picture of him some day!

Key issue is the chest area. Mens ribs bow out a bit. Err, yes, I studied a lot of bones. 2 I'm fairly certain the same rule applies to men as women that the hips should be even with the shoulders. Men have a boxy build, whild women are more curved. 2 Breaking the body down into circles and boxes can help keep things in check. 2

Nice work. I can see you've studied some real anatomy here. The slight rotation of the shoulders that would be needed in that pose is well done. He looks a bit feminine though. Either he should have some rib showing if he's very thin, or he should be bulkd up a bit more if you want to fix that. Looking at the skill the shoulders were done with, I know you have the ability. 2

Aysel: Why have I not seen this? I -AM- the angel of moonlight...
Karin: You aren't the only angel of moonlight. Now stop drooling. ^^;
Aysel: Aww...
Karin: Now, before Kenji can say anything, I'll say this. You have an incredible art style, even if he does seem quite bishi. ^^ But, the moon represents romance and love, to me, so I think an attractive bishounen man fits the image of a moon god. ^^
Kenji: *pipes up* I'm a better looking moon god than him...
Kei: Right, goddess-boy. Want me to get your dress ready, Tsukiyomi?
Kenji: SHADDAP!
Karin: See why I had to say that before Kenji said anything? ^^;
Me: My characters are taking over me. ;.;

1 Eli Marie S. Landro replies: "But bishi is GOOD! You know I can't draw anything but bishis anyway! *lol* "
