SciFi and Fantasy Art: Angau

Angau is a Dwarven RunePriest played in the Sharune mud. His mother wanted him to be a warrior, but he never liked fighting, and besides: he was very bad at it. He worked in the mines for years, to provide a living for his motherr. Then one day a Jackdaw came visiting him and told him he was chosen to be a warrior and that he had to fight Narblazu. Deaf for all the excuses Angau made up the Jackdaw led him to Rivers Glory, and from there Angau searched long before finding the other eight of the chosen group. Luckily: they didn't need him to be warrior, they needed a healer.

Done in black ink and watercolour, as always :)

25 Jul 2006	Anonymous	Loading... the staff is too thin. It would break if you used it to fight or walk with. You are very good at drawing horses but your people still need improvement. They are still way better than i could ever draw them. I love your kirin pic. I have it as my desktop screen. I love the way you capture the trancquill feeling in its face. cool!

4 Oct 2007	Estel Dunadan	Loading... It's excellent artwork, but I have one objection. He doesn't look like a Dwarf; he looks like a human. I daresay not everyone agrees with me, but I believe that most different races LOOK quite different to each other (be they akin or no). Dwarves have strong racial character. His clothes and book are especially good.
