SciFi and Fantasy Art: Mythical Equines: Epona

Epona is the celtic godess of horses. She was able to take the shape of a horse. White horses are the only animal capable of travelling to the otherworld, were all spirits rest and fearys, demons and other creatures dwell freely. Here she is on her way back to the normal world.
Done in black ink and watercolours, some highlights in gouache

If you have any ideas for other mythical horses I've not done yet please let me know!

Wow I love your mythical equines. yuo’ve probably heard this from a million other people, but I have to say, being a total Zelda nut, the first thing I thought when I saw the title was ’Link’s horse isn’t white!’ then, of course, I read the desription. hits herself ove the head anyway, beautiful pic!

Like Epona herself, the horse is flawless. You do an excellent job with all of your mythical equines, and you also get their history right. Great job, keep up the good work.
