SciFi and Fantasy Art: Mythical Equines: Kirin

I browsed a lot of pictures and pages to find information on the asian unicorn. Finally I came to the conclusion that there are hundreds of different description of the animal. I chose one that described him as a cross between a horse and a dragon, with one backward horn, covered in shiny fishlike scales.
Done in black ink and watercolors.

If you have any ideas for other mythical horses I've not done yet please let me know!

For extra relish, theres a legend that says the only way to foil a kelpie is to throw a pebble into the water; the ripples reveal the kelpie's true reflection. or a sea-horse - a horse with fins. or my own creartion, the electrorse. has a horn on its head(not unicorn) that it uses to "capture" lightning in a thunderstorm. then it zaps people
