I really love TOOL. And that song as well. And this image is pure art, less fantasy and more expressionistic surrealism. Only problem is the wing on the figures right side is inverted i think inappropriately it should be stretching towards the moon to be not only in proportion but to also lead the viewers eye from the focal point to the lovely back ground which would link it to the Fore ground.

Way cool! *lol* a very strange picture but I seem glued to it! Could the creature perhaps be 'donating' its blood to the earth? Seems very spiritual in a way. Excellent work! ^-^

Beautiful, beautiful picture. it is alive with movement and emotion, and your use of colour really brings out the mood of the picture. Im no artist but i can appreciate talent when i see it, and you have it. The contrast between the tree and the bluey sky really adds to the atmosphere. well done!

Unearthily eerie. The colors are amazing. You can just feel a chill run up your spine from looking at it.

Haunting -- that's what 'This is Necessary' is -- haunting. Pardon what might be analytic overkill on my part, but there is a definite sense from the combination of color and composition that you can almost read the dragon's thoughts: "I do not wish to this, but I must; I wish I need not do this, but I do."

Really, inspired by tool... Tool my fravorite band too, sadly, nothing as good as this comes too my head when i listen to it. It's very cool.
