SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Coming of the Elk

This is the concept drawing for a bronze sculpture I'm making in class. I've already built him out of wax, cast him in a massive plaster mould, and the wax will be melted out next week. Joy of joys. He doesn't quite look the same as in the picture.. it took a lot more to hold up those legs.. And he has horns that twist and curve about on the floor.. hopefully I'll get pictures up of him sometime soon.
