SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Lookout

This piece is one of my 'armature' drawings. That means that it was done while looking off of another picture to get the basic outlines, with changes made where needed. In this case, I used the splash page from SW Jedi Academy: Leviathan #1 as an 'armature', changing the figure and the background to suit my needs. The picture is actually around the size of a school desk top, (I photocopied it down to paper size, then scanned it in and shrunk it down even more), and depicts Xicanti, one of my RPG and novel characters. I've never been able to get his face quite right, which is why I've left it out here.

It took me HOURS to complete, (over a period of around two months), with some very unco-operative, oily paper that didn't want to be inked. It's nice to know that so many people appreciate it! Heidi: it's also great to see that someone besides Persis - and me! - thinks he's sexy to boot!
