SciFi and Fantasy Art: Smug? Or maybe just bored....

This guy was originally going to be a final art project at school, but I changed it at the last minute and ended up using the Alya and Durrok picture but widening it and coloring it with chalk and colored pencil. So here is my poor rejected dragon, but he looks like he can take care of himself.

9 Sep 2000	Sarah Gibraiel	Loading... hehe..put a little knight in front of him and it would be great! hmm...of course, I tend to think any pic with a big dragon glaring at a little knight is good shrugs =) the spikey mane is cool, and the face too, one thing that looks kinda odd to me tho is the feet, the seem too small, but maybe its just me. I love it!

If this guy were threatening a knight, he could be bored or smug. With dragons, who knows. I like the detail work you've put into him. I sometimes get carried away with drawing every scale, but you chose just the right areas to emphasize, I think.
24 Dec 2000	Christiaan, A.Iken	Loading... whats reallly good in my opinion about this is the pose, its not a static boring dragon pose, its a well thought out interesting twisting pose. thats something that u should keep on doing alot more of. twisting poses and stuff so they become intersint, great job.
