Info on the name: 'Araniel' is also the name of a spirit in the Lesser Key of Solomon, or, the LEMEGETON. 'The Lemegeton is a popular handbook of sorcery known from the 17th century' [source]
According to this page Araniel is the name of a servant of the angel Sasquiel (the angel which ruled 'Fealech', the 5th hour of the day).

Anyway, this picture is of a Paladin-class female, seen bearing a crossbow strapped to her arm as well as a five-pronged spetum. The shoulder armor is a variation of those found on a Roman type cuirass, called Corbridge 'loricae segmentae'; with the laminations extended to the elbow. She wears a full suit of chainmail (copied from manga style ninja chainmail ^_^*) and samurai-influenced shinguards over monkstrap boots.
