SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragon Head (lines)

This one is a bit out of the ordinary. I'm not sure what came over me to do it. It's . . . interesting, to say the least. And I'm not totally sure if I like it or not. Well, I started out with a whole bunch of parallel lines across my paper and I did a quick sketch of a dragon head on top of it. Where the lines were for my dragon head I thickened the lines on the paper and would gradually make them less thick if I wanted to make a fading effect. It's kind of strange to look at, though. If you look at it too close you won't see the image, so I suggest that you back up a couple of feet from your computer when viewing. Comments would be appreciated. (Done in ink)
