SciFi and Fantasy Art: Mage Slayer

This was just a concept sketch for a character I might be playing in a role-playing game. I basically decided that I'm sick of mages and magic users in general, since they can be such a pain in the butt, so I've decided to play a Mage Slayer, which is a kind of Barbarian. Basically someone that hates 'civilisation' and whose sole purpose in life is finding evil magic users and putting a spirit arrow through their brains and then destroying anything magical they had with them. Kill Kill Kill. I just liked how it turned out.. though the scan doesn't do it justice. At any rate, this is pencil on watercolor paper (watercolor paper was all I had with me for some odd reason) and it started as an idle doodle, which so many things do with me. May 9th, 1998

Ta-tonka! That's the guy! The native american wrestler! Hee-hee! I know you probably had no intention of making him look like that, but it just recreates the thought of Ta-tonka pracing around the ring in war paint and banging a tribal drum...in any case, this is a magnificent portrait, simple and to the point, no use for a background, correct? Well, I thank you for letting me post my rambling little ideas on your page, I am your humble fan.

Thanks for contributing to slaying those evil magic weilding mages. I think the idea of magic took alot of the fighting out of the medieval agenda. Very nice work there, especially on the cheek bones! :~)

MAGES ROCK!!! I'm sorry, but I just think that destroying mages that aren't evil at all is just plain stupid. Many mages in books do more good than the other good guys in the book.Take in example, the DragonLance books. Yes, Raistlin can be cruel, but has he ever betrayed his friends? Or ever done anything to be peirced with those "spirit arrows?" What's with that anyway? Spirit arrows? Never heard of 'em. The actual picture is nice, but his purpus just bugs me.

He's great. The head is simple, but very beautiful. I like the tattoo/colour things as well. 2

Is it wise for this kind of guy to have a bulls-eye on his forehead?
