SciFi and Fantasy Art: To Kill a God

In the title, I am being quite literal. This is the final battle between Katana, the rogue mercenary turned hero and his nemesis, the God-enchanter sorcerer Shintar. Katan weilds the legendary Katanas of Quinten forged a thousand years past at the War of Chaos. The swords were made to kill Gods, but that is all it does. As one can see, there is no blood and his powerful aura is lifting. When Katana, sad and bitter, having seen the horror in Shintar's eyes from a past filled with betrayal and pain, walks away, Shintar awakens later with the swords laying beside him and stripped of his powers and immortality. It nearly undoes him.

The scratch marks are a bit much...Maybe one set but definately not four

I thought that would be obvious due to the fact his clothes are shredded. This is after a vicious battle, what's he supposed to look like? I already cut back as it is. I did not think I would have to defend my art from something so petty."

I think Shintar (right one, am I right?) is well done. Katana has a girlish face, but worse, he has that look "nothing happens at all". He doesn´t seem to look at Shintar, or looks at the top of his head. Besides the scars, he doesn´t look as after a battle, and his pose doesn´t reveal the motion.

Still, I´m not sure I´d be better in depicting such a dramatic scene - and I really like how you have drawn Shintar, especially his hands and face. This unbelieving, painful look...
