| 6 Nov 2004 | Anonymous | The scratch marks are a bit much...Maybe one set but definately not four Aryka J. Lamont replies: "I forgot to mention Shintar is a shape-shifter, those are claw marks from his various animal forms. That's why there are so many. I thought that would be obvious due to the fact his clothes are shredded. This is after a vicious battle, what's he supposed to look like? I already cut back as it is. I did not think I would have to defend my art from something so petty." | |
| 5 Dec 2005 | Lawenta | I think Shintar (right one, am I right?) is well done. Katana has a girlish face, but worse, he has that look "nothing happens at all". He doesn´t seem to look at Shintar, or looks at the top of his head. Besides the scars, he doesn´t look as after a battle, and his pose doesn´t reveal the motion.
Still, I´m not sure I´d be better in depicting such a dramatic scene - and I really like how you have drawn Shintar, especially his hands and face. This unbelieving, painful look... | |
