SciFi and Fantasy Art: The EldersThese three strange but beautiful men are the most ancient of their people's, all three well over two thousand years old. From left to right they are Quindarius De Valois, Aurien Amberstone and Sael Plantaganet. Knowledge, Wisdom and Passion. There is a long past between Quindarius and Sael as they gaze at each other with hate and desire. Gentle Aurien's people got caught up in the war between the Plantaganet and De Valois, and so he fled with them into the woods and wove a powerful enchantement keeping them safe, but as years pass, kept them from the true experience of life. He had to learn to let go of his fears to allow his people to grow and became their Guardian. As for the other two, they have personal issues in which there is not enough space to write it all down, but they were not the cause nor directly involved in the war (which would also take too long to explain ^^;). Sad, really, they might have been friends, allies at the very least. The jewels are the same color and location for each race which is their lifeforce and source of great or modest power. These three are near Godlike in power. But Quindarius is more the scholar, whereas Adriel is a custodian of the earth and Sael, a dark hunter warrior-mage who is talented in the forging of weapons. Sael has the tattoo of a wolf on his back and can change into one when he is particularly thirsting for blood. | |
