Oh well they're grow back or something. Anyway I really like the sky in this picture, it's like all the stars are shooting at once. Oh my silly mind is going away with me, I like the mountains too. Great work, keep it up. | |

| 29 Mar 2004 | Amaranthine | Congratulations on using the basic models and built-in materials that ship with Bryce. This isn't "art" anymore than if you had cut pictures of a magazine and re-pasted them onto construction paper. You didn't even try to hide the material rendering because the rooftops of your buildings have the same texture as the sides. Congratulations on the most amateurish 3-D rendering I've seen on Elfwood yet. I'm sure you'll delete this comment, but at least you have to look it to do so. Hopefully you'll take a few basic tutorials; even Bryce (which has really basic modelling tools) can look better than this; you're not even trying. Erick E. Mendez (Mushi X) replies: " Apparently you're a little bitter. I did these as illustrations for my own little stories years ago, and apparently the designs I put together were enjoyed by some people. Perhaps I didn't try very hard, but I did design something that served its purpose at the time, and now I've shared my little creations with others who seem to enjoy it. So, too bad for you if people enjoy simple Bryce designs. Yeah, it's not that great, it's by no means a masterpiece, but hey, these people like the way it looks, and that's fine by me. " | |
