Gems are the currency in the Seizing Fate world (the world of Catahl). Ooo, pretty. Made with Bryce, it was actually very simple. There are just 4 shapes with textures on them. Anyone could do it.

Mendez (Mushi X) replies: "Heh, seriously though, if you had the Bryce program, you could make all kinds of cool stuff with just the pre-made stuff the program comes with (add a dash of imagination, and you're all set)... A lot of this 3D stuff here is old Bryce 2.0 stuff I made when trying to learn the program."
