SciFi and Fantasy Art: Goddess

An excerpt from my History of Catahl story: 'On the main continent, religion was always agreed upon. The belief was that there was a goddess that gave people emotions like sympathy, compassion, strength, courage, and love. This goddess was known simply as 'Goddess'. Before the Ancestral War, there was no organization in religion, but in rebuilding society, the descendants decided to place more emphasis on religion in order to promote peace. The Church of Goddess was formed to convey the will of Goddess to the world. The more the people focused on religion, the more important it became. Priests healed the sick and weak to show the great compassion of Goddess, but their healing evolved from simple medicine to inexplicable miracles. With one wave of his hand, a priest could seal a wound. Healing magic rose among the priesthood, and became the first form of magic.'
