I really like your work. It is mellow, but very powerful at the same time. I'll have you know that I am very picky about art, so it's hard for me to find an artist worthy of complimenting. Great art, I like it, keep up the good work.

Evey? I think you used to go by Evey...maybe I'm remembering incorrectly. If so, you can probably ignore the rest of this.

You and I both used to be friends with a guy named Keiro Tsubana. I always thought you lived really far from me--but apparently you live close enough to go to Anime Evolution in Vancouver? I saw a picture that looked like something you would paint up on the wall at the art contest, and I recognized you from Elfwood!

I couldn't find you at the con but that's not surprising since I'm not sure I've ever known what you looked like--just used to come to your gallery back when I lurked on Elfwood, and Keiro would send me links to pictures he really liked.

I hope you're doing well--next time we're at the same convention I want to meet up with you and look at your sketchbook. I'm still assuming that was you, but there was a Carrie Wong and a Hannah Wong too...it just seemed like it was too much of a coincidence to look like your style and be in the same area as your Elfwood "world map" says.

I'm going to KumoriCon in Portland and YaoiCon in San Francisco this year, and I'll be at SakuraCon next spring.

Anyway it was cool recognizing your picture, which was good, and I hope you won something for it!

I love the way you mix anime style with watercolor painting, it gives the art so much more life and reality to it. i really like your style because its so unique, a very good thing for an aspiring artist!
