SciFi and Fantasy Art: Rin - Dwarven city

Rin is the dwarern capital of the north (in my world) it is named Rin because of its desinctive ring like appearence when viewed from above, the city was a monument to dwarfern technology during the first age, it was built completely into the ground, each and every house was carved by the dwarves and in the center of Rin stands a great statue of the dwarven king.

Woo, what an original idea. I like it, although if I lived in this city I would be terribly afreid of earthquakes and noughty boys throwing stones from above 2 Anyway, I like the serpia tone of the pic (well, of all your pics), and the composition and shading. Nice work!

No comments in years? Shame on gallery visitors. This is such a unique picture. Now I feel like I can "see" a dwarven city. Thank You.
