SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dinictis

Dinictis is the Mother aspect in my Archetypal Triple Goddess series. She is the Goddess-Queen in my story, and Her name means 'Ancestor'. Her character is very similar to Isis and Demeter. She is touching the pool of water to reaffirm Her title of Bringer of Life, since in my story's mythology, She encouraged all life in the land to rise up from the primeval waters. Her character is nurturing, caring, and loving, but strong and commanding at the same time. This is drawn in marker and pencil.

wow, that is really good coloring, on average how long do u spend on your drawings?? take a look at my site, my drawings are done in pencil and computer colored, you should try that

*~the Artist~* On average? A day. But the bigger ones, like this one can take up to 3 days. It really depends how busy I am... the longest it ever took me to finish anything was Moonlight Magic which I worked on off and on for 2 months.

I was going through random stories in the Wyvern's Library and came across your really long one. o.o I read most of the prologue and then went back to the first page and saw you did art. Naturally, first thing I did was look for Dinictis...why? <_< Cuz her name is really cool ^_^ and I wanted to see what she looked like and WOW is this picture really pretty! I love the curvy lines of her dress, and the ripples in the water, and the stars, and the crystals and everything! Eeeeee....x.x... now I have to go read the rest of your story! *scuttles off*

This is a really good pic. When I first saw it, I thought it looked like Crysta, ffom Ferngully, then I started reading the comments and I guess I'm not the only one who thinks that. Again, good pic.
