SciFi and Fantasy Art: Drizzt and Unicorn

This is one my my favorite scene from one of my favorite Drizzt books: Starless Night. Here Drizzt is looking back to his elven companion as he recieves a favorable sign from his goddess Mielikki in the form of her symbol, a unicorn. A unicorn allowing a drow to touch it... could there be any more potent way of showing how pure and good Drizzt's heart is? I didn't think so =P Drawn in marker and pencil.

Odd as I think it is, this picture of Drizzt, albeit drawn in a "childish" fairy-tale kind of way, is one of the most accurate renderings of drizzt I've ever seen! Accurate atleast compared to how I've imagined him. Elfwood artist Jenny Dolfen also managed to catch what makes Drizzt himself. Looking at your other pics of him I think what I like best is that you've captured his youth and, well, innocence. Have you ever thought of drawing Entreri?

I also like the scene you captured....one of Drizzts greater moments. Any ways...GREAT JOB....i would like to see more!!
