Wonderful picture. Notice I hang my head and don't leave my name. My only criticism, I think her feet are a bit too small.

accually, i dont think the skogsrå(hehe) is(or was?) blonde...? everything doesnt have to be blonde just because its from sweden....IM NOT BLONDE!!!!!!!!! it wouldnt be to prectical to melt into a dark forest with golden hair or something......
and im very much from sweden. ditt skogsrå ser ut som ett skogsrå=) vadå asiatisk????

I believe I read somewhere that the skogsrå usually had black hair. It varies from place to place of course but she was only blonde at a couple of places, Sörmland if I remember correctly.

I think this is the bio with most sex-related comments I´v seen yet... I guess tokfrans wouldn´t have given me that comment if I had been the one who´d drawn it!

För det första:
Min pappa (ULF!) var SVARTHÅRIG & BRUNÖGD & hans mamma kom från Dalarna (likaså hela hennes familj till LÅNGT bak i tiden. Närmare bestämt från Orsa). Hans pappa kom från någonstans runt Sundsvall området (HANS pappa kom iof från Norge, men det är ju fortfarande Norden. HANS mamma däremot kom från Sverige & hela hennes familj också).
Jag & min storasyster är mörkhåriga bådatvå, medan mina två småsyskon är blonda (Alla utom jag har blå ögon, för jag har grön-gula). På mammas (ÅSA!) sida är ALLA 100% Svenska & DET NI är en blandad samling av hår- & ögonfärger.

Geez, what is the big deal about her being red-haired? When the picture says it's a red-haired elf then it's a red-haired elf. I'm sure you've all seen elves with much more "unnatural" colors. And why should all elves be blondes in the first place...? And please, "it doesn't look authentic?" Who can determine what the very first "authentic" elf looked like? I'm sure Tolkien wasn't the first to come up with the idea. People, it's fantasy! It's always and never authentic!

And I agree, out of all the Nordic people I know and have met(including myself) just a small minority of them are "authentic" blondes with blue eyes. Do all the French wear a beret?

Oh, and all honor to the artist, of course. A beautiful picture. Nice hair.
