| 19 Feb 2003 | Kathleen A. Barton | What no comment yet? *does traditional first comment jig* LoL Even with as sad as this picture is .. there is so much emotion showed. You did an absolutely amazing job at depicting that. I give you major kudos on the work you've done. The only thing about this picture is it would be great to see it bigger. Being so small we miss out on all the great detail I'm sure you put into it. Great Job! Looking forward for more updates! ^_^ Kate | |
| 19 Feb 2003 | Matthew | Youch! I guess it was an upsetting day. This is very well done, albeit disturbing! The composition is very good, especially the way you use little details like the girl's tear to tell the story. Other details I particularly like are the unicorn's hooves and the expression on the horse's face. | |
| 25 Apr 2003 | Patrick R. Derksen | It could all just be a big misunderstanding. Well, except that there are TWO arrows stuck in the unicorn, I guess... *Thwack!* "Ah! You shot my unicorn!" "Oops, terribly sorry. I didn't mean to." *Thwack!* "You shot her again!" "Oh, did I now? I'm so sorry. It shan't happen again." "Well it better not!" Great drawing, by the way. I'm sorry if I undermined the mood. : ) | |

Just one problem, I'm assuming the guy shot the Unicorn (that evil grin). So out of curiosty where is his longbow and quiver of arrows?
To end on a positive note; I really do like the detail of the Unicorns blood mixing with the stream. | |
| 11 Jul 2004 | Phoenix | Ok, I think this is an example of two pictures in one. From afar it looks like the Unicorn was shot and the rider came to help the women, his eyebrows arn't seen, just his smile, and his Horse is probably angry because it sees one of it's kind dead. But then closer up you see the the rider is actually grabbing her by the wrists with an evil grin on his face and the horse is just furios for whatever reason just like it's master. | |
