SciFi and Fantasy Art: Skycatcher

This has taken me forever to complete. It wasn´t very complicated, it´s just that I get so little time to paint these days! I saw the idea with the rope and the butterflies in a dream and decided to do something with it. The guy is an imaginary carachter. Medium: watercolors and gouache.

Ah, maybe ~he's~ the one little Miss Undecided is trying to escape. *nods sagely*

He is just so hot...power in his stance, so you know he could wrestle a bear, but serenity and wisdom in his face...aw man, I love him. Why do you tempt me so?!

I love him :14urr::

It's a shame I'm taken 12

Awesome work with watercolors. You appear to be an expert in the medium (i on the other hand can never get them to do what I want. Watercolor is a fun, but unforgiving, medium)

EXQUISITE!! I have just looked at the 36 pictures currently in your gallery and they are all so beautiful. The images themselves, the colours, the proportions, your attention to even the smallest of details- everything is perfect. I look forward to seeing more from you xx

Wonderful Celtic flavor! He seems lost in deep thoughts, just letting the ancient wind whip through his clothes and hair. The butterflies are a nice touch. Some of the other comments are right, in that he does look slightly Roman, but not too much.

I have to ask though, what exactly is the rope? A whip? Or just something artistic to give the picture more movement? It sure looks cool...
