I broke into the field of illustration through conclusion of my GCSE's at school. From then on I would often fill sketchbooks with my unearthly paintings of Derby. It wasnt until I met up with the now infamous 'Hawksworth' (who I hope will contribute to this gallery), that I realised I would like to move into the field of Dragon/Fantasy Art. Shadowing Hawksworth for a solid Year I picked up his style, and his way of working, i remeber thinking to myself on many occasions that HE WAS THE BEST. people often comment that my work looks very similar to his, with long swirly paint strokes and 'mad eyes'. Seeing hawksworth's 1998m painting entitled,'horsefight' was a turning point in my career thats when i decided I wanted to do dragon/fantasy art full-time, and ever since I have been unemployed. I now look on at seasoned proffessionals Lawrie and Vickers for Inspiration as Hawksworth leaves the field of Dragon Art.
