Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "As I have said before, this is just a first version and it has a lot of things to improve. Thanks for the comment, anyway.I have sort of "mastered" the cross hatching due to a lot of prectice...But I will also thank you for that." | |
| 7 Feb 2003 | Lieuwe Boer | Loading...I don't have anything against manga, really. I didn't realize I was suggesting that. In fact, some of my favourite movies are manga. Ninja Scroll for example, awesome! Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "He! Don't worry, dude. I wasn't serious. Surely everyone is able to has his or her own tastes (and yours is pretty good)." | |
| 7 Feb 2003 | Lieuwe Boer | Loading...Well, I'll admit that he looks quite unrealistic, but the symmetry and the typical staring expression kind of reminds me of those medieval grave sculptures. You know, a statue of the deceased person (a king for example) that lay on the lid of the tomb. Pretty cool. They didn't have these big manga eyes though. Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "Well, as I've said before, this is not one of my best works. I really don´t like the face. What I liked about this one is how the technique turned out.I try to give my designs some realistic feeling, but my first priority is a stylized look. Thanks for the comments, anyway. They were appreciated.(Hey! What do you have against Manga?)" | |
| 23 Feb 2003 | Christopher Nicholas Petzak | Loading...I like this one, alot. Like you said, it's not one of your best, but there are still things I like about this. The shoulder pauldrons for example, I like the multiplated style...as it reminds me of what I used to draw, and what it evolved into.... ...and his face for some reason... ~can't quite figure that part out~ I like this, keep drawing armour. ~*Christopher*~ Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "Thanks a lot. Comment from you, the comment means a lot to me.I like a lot the pauldrons, even while they can be improved a lot. What about the face? You left me intrigued..." | |
| 12 Mar 2003 | Michelle D. Knight | Loading...I like this one best out of your gallery b/c it's very symmetrical. I have a very hard time with that, all my stuff is free flowing, but you've got it down. Keep up the good work. Do you have any dragons or animals to add to your gallery? Just wandered. Thanks for your comments on my gallery, that was cool of you! Damian "GrayWolf" Fraustro replies: "Thanks. I ussualy don't draw symmetric characters, but they are fun to draw (even while they are ussualy hard to get).I've some dragons and even some animals, but so far I haven't drawn one of my liking. I'll try to upload some soon." | |
