For those who don't know him, he is Alan Fireheart I, King of Handor, the Wind Kingdom, cofounder of the Flaming Soul Riders and the one behind the summoning of the Ashkalon Pact.
The main hero of my storyline, you could say...

He seems a little stiff and his hair a little stringy...I really don't know what to think but I do love the cross hatching you've done!

I don't have anything against manga, really. I didn't realize I was suggesting that. In fact, some of my favourite movies are manga. Ninja Scroll for example, awesome!

Well, I'll admit that he looks quite unrealistic, but the symmetry and the typical staring expression kind of reminds me of those medieval grave sculptures. You know, a statue of the deceased person (a king for example) that lay on the lid of the tomb. Pretty cool. They didn't have these big manga eyes though.

What I liked about this one is how the technique turned out.I try to give my designs some realistic feeling, but my first priority is a stylized look.Thanks for the comments, anyway. I like this one, alot. Like you said, it's not one of your best, but there are still things I like about this. The shoulder pauldrons for example, I like the multiplated style...as it reminds me of what I used to draw, and what it evolved into....

...and his face for some reason...

I like this one best out of your gallery b/c it's very symmetrical. I have a very hard time with that, all my stuff is free flowing, but you've got it down. Keep up the good work. Do you have any dragons or animals to add to your gallery? Just wandered.
