SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dwarf druid

This is the first dwarf picture I've ever drawn, I play him in an RPG called Midgard. He's a druid and the symbol on his hand is the symbol of the druid society he belongs to. It's supposed to look like a seed with a sprout. Made in school on lined paper

8 Feb 2004	Gilgamesh	Loading... I like it for 2 reasons, its original and its a dwarf. But... why would a druid use an axe? Axes are nature's worst enemy, except maybe fire.
