SciFi and Fantasy Art: Diathandel Shalonost

The king of the elves in the world of Algoron commissioned me to do his portrait. Although its a nice picture, I don't think I'll be mentioning that on my resume anytime soon. I drew it with pencil on paper, then scanned it and colored it in photoshop.

Wow! Tis a masterpiece.
Does me notice use of the 3d feature on the tree trunk?
It's a lovely piece, and so very well coloured

:-) Jess Freeman replies: "Thanks, and uh.. I dunno about the texture, I just drew it like that because it was an interesting texture. No computerized speical effects if that is what you mean. 3d like realism isn't something I exactly go for."
