SciFi and Fantasy Art: Adrien again

I have never been fully satisfied with any picture I have done of Adrien. But I really like this one.

Very nicely done. The armor turned out very well. Love the border as well.

The more I saw Adrien the more I started to like this character. I agree that this is the best picture of her that is in the gallery as of now. I love the way your color online, most peopled looked so candy coated and fake. However your coloring always looks real. The sword is very nice I like the design and general shape. However the outfit is my favorite part of the drawing. Also she has a very nice, refreshing, pretty face.

:-) Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Adrien is a very solemn girl, I like doing pictures of her. Many computer colored pictures are very shiny and bright I try to avoid that look. Glad you notice 2 I am very pleased with the design of her sword and outfit thank you. I am glad that you like her face I have had some people that think she looks to masculine. "

Beautiful work. I don't think her face is masculine at all; she looks just as I personally envision elven ladies!

:-) Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Thank you. I think it is a neat idea that there is very little differences between the elven genders. But in this picture I think it is the broad shoulders and bulky armor that makes people think she is a man. Glad you like it."

It's really nice. You've got the shading down on her armor perfectly.

:-) Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Thank you. I love to draw mettall."

Very nice! I love how you shaded the armor and the border is so well with the character 1 What did you use to color it?

:-) Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Thank you very much. I colored in photoshop with a multiply layer."
