SciFi and Fantasy Art: DroglathDroglath a shade hiding in the husk of his former self. well used to anyway, our discustingly good characters killed him. He was rather evil.
| | | | | Date | Name | Comment | | | 18 Sep 2003 | Zigotto | Wow! damn u can draw good ! just love this one.. the shading and all ... IT'S PERFECT ! Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "yes I´m happy to about it, thank you" | |
| 25 Oct 2003 | Ashley C. Butela | Geez...only one comment on this masterpiece? I'm sorry, I love this pic, and I can never draw men's faces. I congratulate you on your ability! Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "It take some study but when you learn the most important differences between a male and a female face it becomes easier. thank you for your comment" | |
| 10 Dec 2003 | Madeleine van Dijk | Hmm its beautifull *nodds* i like the way you drew his eyes, really elvish, although his head seems a little flat. Sides, he -for some reason- reminds me of Elrond Peredhil O.o (you know, Lord of the Rings, Arwen's father) Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "I just wanted the eyes to be entirely black and inhuman. It is the nose that is making his head look flat. It does not bother me, I think it gives him an interesting apperance. Perhaps it is his hair and stern expression that makes you think of Elrond. thanks for commenting" | |
| 28 Feb 2004 | Rodney W Smith | This is beautifully rendered, I love it. His eyes are far too high underneath his brow, but it works well as a stylization, which is I'm sure what you intended it to be. Poor fella, knocked off just because he was evil. What did he ever do to your character, huh? Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Thank you. I think the narrow eyes and low brow add to the evil look. And since he is originally a half elf it didn´t bother me that the anatomy was a bit off. I don´t think that elves should look like humans afterall. Not much actually, he almost blew my character to smithereens to get hold of a important artifact she had been entrusted with. But he did very horrible things to other people. Its a long story, quite an interresting fellow though." | |
| 23 Jul 2004 | Whiterose | Great pic! I have to metion I rather like the way his eyes are a little too high (for a human at least). It gives him an exotic look. Only few artists are able to make elves look like an entirely different species and not just humans with pointed ears. By the way the eyes are great. He sounds like an interesting character, I'm sure it was fun playing (Aren't challenging adversaries the best?) the session you mentioned. Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Yes I like that to and I think that elves should look very different from humans. I had a blast playing with him as the villain. He didn´t have anything personal against the characters he was just prepared to do anything to get his hands on that artifact. Challenges is a really big part of the fun in roleplaying. Glad you like the pic." | |
| 25 Jul 2004 | Emma Kaz | Too bad he's dead, he's quite good looking (even if he's EVIL) I love the concept of the entirely black eyes... Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Yup! I really like the eyes too." | |
| 30 Jul 2004 | Ann | You don't draw a lot of man figures, but when you do, they are mostly bad and absolutely GORGEOUS! I can't help it, but men with long hair and dark eyes are my weak spot. So if you draw an other, can you make it a good guy? By the way, a picture without anatomical mistakes can't be from a good drawer. Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "I should draw more men but I dont get around to do it that often. Most of the time when I do, it is for my gm who wants me to illustrate villains. But I might draw a good guy for you." | |
| 13 Jul 2007 | PoisonTouch | I like it, especially the shading. One thing though his forehead looks a little big, that makes the top of his head look rather flat. BUT aside from that I like it. | |
| 25 Jul 2008 | Maggie Nelson | woooow. I like his nose.
Kinda looks like the young Voldemort when he started going bad.
