| 29 Jan 2008 | Debie Seifert | I think it is very cute. I would fatten the flying pig up at the top though. But I like it very much... well done Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Thank you. I dont see it as a pig really its more of a piggish bird critter. Besides some pigs are actually pretty lean. I like your sculptures they are adorable." | |
| 29 Jan 2008 | Markus ´Olaf´ Rajala | Very Pythonesque (In the ways of Terry Gilliam). I like it. Could do with a brim of some sorts, or some sort of graphical frames. Hand-made, of course, none of that ugly computer-generated nonsense every other webpage throws at you. Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Now that you mention it it does have a lot in common with those animations, especially the ones in The Search for the Holy Grail. I had to fight the urge to play around with the drawings while I placed them in photoshop. It looks a little different on the actual webpage, the tree thingy servers as the actual frame. Thank you very much for your input I will have it in mind." | |
| 29 Jan 2008 | Annemie Thijs | The graphic design book doesn’t really fit into the quality of the rest of the picture (and the word ’illustration’ seems to be falling off the cover)... it’s less cute, detailed and dynamic than the other menus, if you catch my drift.
Apart from that, I can say that this is one of the most original webpages I’ve ever seen, and you can be sure as hell it will appeal to future employers. Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "I know I am not entirely happy with it. I wanted something to go with the topic matter but it does stand out a bit. I will see if I can come up with something better. I had some problems coming up with a good design since I want to appeal to many different kinds of companies. I am afraid that this might be a bit to childish. But then if I went with something neutral perhaps it would be to boring. I dont know, I hope people will realise that I do more things that childrens illustrations. Glad you like it and thank you very much for the constructive criticism." | |
