SciFi and Fantasy Art: Saphire again

You might think that the age of 22 I would be out of the phase of drawing beautiful elven women in pretty dresses. This is my rpg character the bard Saphire. She is currently on a quest of finding her lost husband Myronthilar.

So this is what you draw when you do 'small doodles' ... *sighs enviously* I wish I could draw something like that EVER.
I love the dress and her eyes are marvelous but I think I like the pose best. She is very sure of herself - which is probably in the job description of every bard.

Oh and ... who is EVER too old to love elven women in dresses?

1 Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Well Its a small doodle cleaned up and carefully colored in photoshop if that makes you feel any better. Some people who are not so old might even love elven women without dresses better. He he! Glad you like it. Thank you very much for all your lovely comments Christa. It makes me feel a little bad because I never bothered to read any of your stories. But I am going to soon. Take care."

Very nice shading. I love the hair, and the clothing design is wonderful.

And you're never too old to draw beautiful elven women in dresses. 12

:-) Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Thank you, After seeing the hair you do I realice I have to practice to get to the same level you are. I suppose not 2"

I love the way you drew her clothes. It looks very realistic (and very nice, might I add) Please dont kill me, but is her head just a shade too big for her body?

:-) Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Thank you. "brandiching my buthering knife" No really her head is a shade to big. This picture is actually a very small doodle on the back of my character sheet. It is difficult to get the proportions right on a very small picture like that."

Oh, don't worry about that, Frida. I know that not every one likes to read English if it isn't the first language. As for my comments: I just enjoy your art so much 2

:-) Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Actually just about everything I read is on English. I suppose I´m just not so keen on short stories and poems. But I did read some of yours and they are really good. I`m going back to write some comments later. I especially like that demon battle poem. crunchy!"

She's pretty indeed... I love blue, and it looks especially fine in combination with gold 2

:-) Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Blue isnt a favorite color of mine, but since she was supposed to have blue hair I thougt why not? And any color looks good with gold."

I love the way the features of her face, the eyes especially, actually make her look elven rather than just a human with pointy ears. You hardly ever see that, even in my own art I'm ashamed to say, but I hardly ever draw elves anyway 12

:-) Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Thank you, This picture is slightly cartoonish so I exagerated the elven features a bit. Glad you like it. "

She is very lovely...there is just enough blue in the dress to complement the hair and to make the eyes stand out, and the hint of pink around her cheeks is a nice touch + not overdone...I think that I am perfectly content with you making beautiful elves in pretty dresses...although I would also be interested in seeing some halfling rogues withfunny names...2

1 Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Thank you Azia, It´s a very girly picture, but I like it. I´m sad to say that I dont have any plans on doing any halflings for now. But you never know. "

I really love her face. It has delicate, but strong features. You also have a way with flowy hair. Rock on.

:-) Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Thanks again Danielle."

It's... flawless.

Eveyrthing looks so real, the clothing, and the hair, it's all so very unusual.

:-) Frida Månsson Bergholtz replies: "Thank you very much. I dont think it is either flawless or unusual. But I think it is a cut pic and I am glad that you like it."
