| 7 Apr 2004 | Karin Schadinger | Loading...Honestly, I wouldn't want to meet him out in the drakness... *shudders* CUTE?? I am afraid of him... *gg* But he looks great!! Especially the helmet! Great work on details in this one!! Dirk 'FrostFlight' van Boxtel replies: "|[ Cute Details then? ;D ]| |[ Glad you like it, even though you don't see the fluffy cuteness in this pic ;DDD ]|" | |
| 13 Jul 2004 | Kelvin Michael Green | Loading...I think that the legs are a bit too long...unless he's not human, of course... Again, a wonderful use of texture. What materials are you using? Dirk 'FrostFlight' van Boxtel replies: "|[ Now there's a comment I can use! Hadn't even noticed, but you seem to be right about them' legs. Thankies! ]| |[ I use just a pencil and a piece of white paper. Photoshop to give it a nice, old, brownish feel. ]|" | |
| 2 Dec 2004 | Meike de Nooy | Loading...I think I'm attracted to evil... No, I think it was the furryness in combination with the slightly feminin shape... but still it's more evil then I ever manage anything, and I like your designs! Dirk 'FrostFlight' van Boxtel replies: "|[ I noticed in your galleries that you draw mostly females. I wish that for once I could draw one in a way that I'm satisfied with. ]| |[ And for evil: just add spikes =DDD ]|" | |
| 29 Dec 2004 | Anon. | Loading...I really like the detail and the helmet is just AMAZING Dirk 'FrostFlight' van Boxtel replies: "|[ Weird name you've got there =P ]| |[ Thanks for the compliment though =D ]|" | |
| 8 May 2005 | Bloodhawk | Loading...I think you've spelt that right, yeah. Anywho, great job here, I love his headgear in particular. He looks as if he'd be a bit stumpy without it. Heh. ^.^ Dirk 'FrostFlight' van Boxtel replies: "|[ Yea the headgear is what I'm most proud of too =D ]| |[ Thanks for the kind comment, and indeed he'd be a bit of a wuss without the helmet ;D ]|" | |
| 25 May 2005 | Heather Kaji Frazier | Loading...Oh yes, headgear is fantastic. I love how every layer has it's texture so obvious. He's very solidly there on the page, and the morning star looks heavy. I don't do them either, but a bkground and certainly a shadow would make him stand out even more. =3 And, though I like capes... his kinda seems flat compared to the fantastic 3d-ness (is too a word!) of the rest of the drawing. Dirk 'FrostFlight' van Boxtel replies: "|[ Yea, I'm practicing at doing backgrounds a lot. Even with other media. Oil on canvas and stuff. ]| |[ I hear ye on the 3d-ness too (a word indeed!) I could have spend more time on the cape, but it's often a way to quickly fill a drawing and for some reason I didn't spend the time it deserved drawing it. Oh well, bettr luck next time =D Thanks for the comment =D ]|" | |
| 24 Jun 2005 | T. Tyndell | Loading...That helmet is fiercely wicked. I like it! Dirk 'FrostFlight' van Boxtel replies: "|[ Thanks for the comment =DDD ]| |[ And no, you can't have it ;D ]|" | |
| 27 Jun 2005 | Yvonne Marie Honeyball | Loading...Cute? are you mad? *runs away* seriously you have an eye for details and you form your characters very well, that it makes me think that they could almost be real. Dirk 'FrostFlight' van Boxtel replies: "|[ Well... I've been called mad before... so... Aye! ]| |[ Thanks for the kind comment. You poked something in me that now wants to re-do this pic, see if I can make it even better, maybe add a story to it =) Thanks!!! =D ]|" | |
