| 17 Sep 2005 | Sylvia | That is a truly beautiful specimen. And yes, it IS traditional to have a scorpion tail on a lion's body, whatever the modern artists might say. I like that the scorpiantine (real word? I doubt it) features are extended to the back and mane. Very original. The teeth in the maw remind me of some rather nasty fly-traps I've seen pictures of. WOULD not want to be eaten by that fellow, however lovely he is drawn.  | |
