SciFi and Fantasy Art: Corvus

This is Corvus, from a game I played with Davy, a friend of mine.  My husband Steve ran that game.  (See the other pic for more info on the game!) 

This is Corvus a few years later, once their memory had returned.  He is a powerful mage, but a little impatient and inattentive.  That's why he makes mistakes like the one that cost him his arm so long ago.  It's such a mistake that cost him his eye, now.  In his desperate efforts to create a gigantic golem to protect their new city, he had started meddling with a very special crystal, one which held much power, but was very volatile.  One moment of inattention, and the explosion took half his face.  He's lucky to still be alive.

I really like his look!  I'm working on a colored version of this.
