SciFi and Fantasy Art: Mad Fire Prophet

Maruil was born in the midst of blood and chaos.  He was a favored of the fire and lightning god, and they were in a hurry to claim their champion;  while his mother was in labor, lightning struck the house, tearing a large hole into the ceiling.  Then it struck again, tearing a hole into her stomach.  The room was scorched and sizzling, the poor woman burnt to a crisp, but in the middle of the bloodbath was the baby, unharmed.  On his back were demonic wings, in his mouth already protruded two little fangs.
