Not a bad piece of work at all.. overall colouring nice. The background's very good too - I've tried for ages to get that semi-transparent lighting thing on water, and failed appallingly I hasten to add.

one point though - take care when using computers to do the colour work/shading... it can 'flatten' things, and kind of undo your excellent line drawing work. Have you ever tried greyshading with a HB pencil and using the computer prog to enhance that? I tend to struggle and fight when it comes to computer colouring, it doesn't seem 'natural' somehow*.

(*Think you're more advanced than I in this area though)

Computers can be subtle (as your background & magic effect so aptly shows - so you CAN do it), but it does take more time (sigh) something which is a hard thing to come by sometimes.

but please, keep up the good work - and feel free to file my comments under 'semi-technophobic ramblings'.
