SciFi and Fantasy Art: Emergence

This picture was drawn from a discussion with a friend about a proposed RPG. The setting was sometime in the nebulous future, wherin humanity had gained access to 'Mirrorworld', an alternative dimension on the other side of the mirrors.

There were several methods of accessing this plane, and one phyle, the Bondeds, were able to cross physically. They increased their connection of mind and body with ritualistic tattooing.

This is a fairly young bonded, in the midst of travelling from one plane to another, right through the mirror.
