SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sea Serpent

A simple drawing with pencil, then inked, then colored with colored pencils. I finally re-scanned this poor fellow. I was just trying some twists and some color effects with colored pencil.

I've had the same problem when scanning an orange/tan picture. It seems scanners won't accept the color and makes it all orange/red instead. Otherwise, good work.

Give yourself some more credit, sweetie! I think you are doing just great, and everybody has their trouble spots. My suggestion to you is don't present your work negatively and it will seem SO much better, not that it isn't great because I think it is. Good job!

This is great! Very good colors indeed! The serpent is also well designed and the line work is clean. A very professional-looking picture!

This is a really nice picture, I'll say that, but orange and yellow just doesn't fit a sea-serpent all that well, I'll have to say also. They picture, itself, is wonderful, but I still think the coloring could have been matched better with its habitat. Keep up the goog work!
