SciFi and Fantasy Art: Crouching Soldier

I tried a more detailed shading with this one. I like how it turned out. Any comments are appreciated :)

The shading on this is really nice, and I think that's got to be one of the more awkward positions to draw. However, something just doesn't look right with the proportions of her arms to torso to legs. Individually they look good, but together they don't quite match.

on the mechanical level, the mouth could be a lil bigger, other than that its perfect. I won't even say "other than that" its perfect as is! but I know JUST a scene for her... 3 men are at a fire asleep in their bedroll's and she is creeping up slowly about to kill the leader...she is only 3 feet away... and he looks up... THIS is what he sees. VERY scary stuff 2 hahaa LOVE the pic 2

I absolutely love your work. I just barely opened your site before I bookmarked it. I love the "Crouching Soldier". It's so amazing. I'm pretty young (high school), and I'm working towards getting better with my drawings. I'm not even close to yours. The shading is fantastic, but if I HAD to comment on something, her eyes look a little too high up, but I LOVE the surprised expression. It rules! Keep drawing. You could easily become a professional anime artist. Ja Ne. Good Luck.

The right arm is too short, but it is not evident at first sight. The mouth, perhaps is a little little (I mean that it shall be a couple of milimeters longer), but it's not bad. The eye is not too high as they say, it is placed too far from nose in the horizontal axis.
The shading is perfect!

Such beautiful, soft shading. The contrast is best in the left sleeve and the gauntlets... I would like to see the face show a little more depth. I suggest darkening the "pocket" around the eyed.

I love this! Her expression is priceless =P

I read a few of the comments about the size of her mouth, and would like to point out the small proportions of it kind of give her that "D'oh!" look. Like she was trying a fancy move and totally messed up.
