SciFi and Fantasy Art: Necromancer

There's three things I like about this guy, right off the bat. 1) He's on fire. That's a cool statement. Powerful. 2) For a magic user, he's got some serious muscular development which I like, because a mage, in my opinion, doesn't always have to have the body of a 90 year old, malnourished, geezer. Unfortunately, there's this stereotype going around that if your'e a wizard, you also have to be very frail, well nonsense. 3) I like the contrast of colors in this picture. the black makes the red really stand out. well besides all that, I also like how he's holdind those two balls of flame in his hands too. It indicates that he is in control of immense power. so I guess it goes without saying that I think this is a nice pic. Stop by my gallery and check out my wizard. Bye!

Yes I must agree. He is on fire and that gets him super kewlness points! And the fact that he is built also gets more points for him. This guy us just all around super kewl. I really like the contrasting colors.

This is excellent. I've never tried watercolor. From what I hear it's pretty dang hard, and from the looks of it, you pulled it off rather nicely.

I love the fact of seeing your picture on a web sight it is really good to get feed back. I fine in my art world it gives me great confidence in my work and its ahelp to continue on in painting.
