SciFi and Fantasy Art: Female Archer

Here's another female warrior. I'm afraid this one is just as delicate as the last. I don't have a whole lot to say about this one, but I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions.

Wow... this picture is just too cool! I'm a big fan of the face scarf for warriors and the short hair cut is what I always try to draw. Archers are by far better than swords(wo)men. The picture just has an awesome vibe of her standing on the top of a cliff looking down for foes. Kinda' just standing guard but really ready to kick butt. I'm a HUGE fan of your art style, Casey! I hate commenting but this picture is sooo like what I try and draw that I couldn't contain my words of awe!

Nice work but the only thing you are missing, is, well, her face without the mask.......NICE WORK!

I think its awesome! The only thing about it is that her shoulders are to broad. Other then that, it's great!

Great design!!!!! But the ninja mask doesn't suit her.

You know what, I am loving the outfit, mask and all. What i do find odd about the picture is teh way she is nocking the arrow. She is putting it in the bow from the inside, kinda weird. Now if her palm was lifted face upwith two fingers guiding the arrow to the string then the consistency of the pics motion would be heightened.
But apart from that, pose is great, style is great and anatomy is great. Good work.

:-) Casey J. Gilbert replies: "I have to admit, I have recieved a number of responses to "old" pics that have been up since highschool. This is one of those pics! I agree, the pose is a bit awkward though. (but it's not as bad as my horses!)"

I just really like the pic, a classical yet edgy style I have tried to get in many of my characters but always seem to fall short. Kudos to you.
